Christmas Magic—We are Adopting Homeless Veterans & Non-Veterans Children’s Shelters

Long Island Home Builders Care is once again adopting homeless children ‘s shelters for the holidays with all the trimmings for them to enjoy a great dinner with their families. New this year we are adopting four (4) homeless children’s shelters for the United Veterans Beacon House! We will be fulfilling the wish list of all the children in the shelters and also be buying them extra clothing and children’s personal care items. Thank you to Tom Legere who will be Santa once again at the party for the kids where they can open their presents. All four shelters are in need of some outdoor play items for the children, so we would like to donate a swing set with a slide and a little tykes playhouse to each shelter. Presently none of these shelters have anything for the children to play on outside.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to help us purchase the swing sets and little tykes playhouse for all four shelters please donate by Monday December 10th.

Christmas Toy Drive

Once again at the LIBI annual Holiday Party we will be collecting toys which will be donated to the Interfaith Nutritional Network (INN) in Nassau County. Please bring new, unwrapped toys to the LIBI office 1757-8 Veterans Memorial Hwy., Islandia, NY 11749 by Monday December 10th.
